My painting process is simple — and it always has been.
I paint like it’s my last day on earth.
Not because I fear the end, but because I honour the moment.
Each brushstroke is a breath, each canvas a conversation I might never have again.
I don’t paint to impress or to perfect — I paint because I have to.
Because something inside asks to be seen, felt, released.
That urgency, that rawness, is what gives the work its life.
And the day that feeling fades — the day I no longer feel that urgency —
is the day I will put down the brush.
Not out of defeat, but out of respect.
Until then, I paint as though it’s the last story I’ll ever tell.
